The Truth!

Okay, so I wasn't going to even let all this news about me and the doctors spread, but it took on a life of it's own, so I'm going to clarify everything! This past August I had a whole passing out thing at camp, I was in and out of consciousness for about 45-60mins. They took me to the hospital, and I was diagnosed with a viral infection. A couple of days later I had another close call, went back to the doctor, same diagnosis. Since then I've had several dizzy spells and blurred vision, they've been getting more and more frequent. I've ended up in a few people's arms, since my legs don't seem to agree with standing all the time. A couple of days ago I collapsed at school and nearly went unconscious again. I went back to the doctor, this time they told me I need to get an EEG. So, I'm going to Calgary on Thursday night for another doctor's appointment, and it's looking like I"ll be scheduled for an EEG and maybe a CAT scan. The dizziness and blurred vision is getting worse, so I won't be driving for a while:P Yes, the doctor did mention having something in my brain, but he assured me that if it was anything serious (ie a tumour) then I would be having constant dizziness. They mentioned having some sort of obstruction in my ear (possibly fluid), which would cause a loss of balance. Based on my blood work and blood pressure etc... they've determined that I am not anemic, or have low blood pressure, or low blood sugar.

So there you have it, the truth! Apparently you can't keep something a secret after you collapse in someone's arms. The prayers are very much appreciated:) I am okay, and I'm sure everything will be just fine. I trust that God will get me through everything. Please pray for my family as well, as this is very scary for them given my brother's history.

I love you all! MUAH!!!
